## Round-by-round

### 1. Online assessment
Numerical and logical reasoning, plus a coding question in the easy-to-medium range.

### 2. Verbal communication round
More of a language assessment — a mix of listening-based tasks and a speaking component.

### 3. Technical interview
Heavily focused on **real-world application** rather than definitions:
- **OOP** principles in practical terms
- **DSA** — specifically **HashMaps**
- **DBMS** — normalisation and SQL
- A detailed discussion of a **Java** project I'd built, where I had to justify my design choices in depth

### 4. HR round
This turned out to be an **eliminator round**, not a formality. It covered how genuine my interest in the technical side of the role was, the difference between a **developer and a consultant**, and a puzzle-based question meant to test problem-solving under pressure.
